Individuals upload a certified ID or passport (plus a permit if they're not a South African citizen), proof of address, their last 3 payslips (or financial statements if self-employed) and 3 months of bank statements. Companies, CCs and trusts upload their CIPC or CK1 documents or trust deed and Letters of Authority, a signing resolution, proof of business address, bank statements and the ID and address of each director, member or trustee. PropScope asks for the right list automatically.
Yes, if you want to. Connect your own TPN, XDS, Experian or other bureau account in Settings and run a check with one tap - the report is saved on the application. Or keep using your bureau's own website and upload the report. Applicants give their consent on the form.
Yes. Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act a residential lease can be signed electronically. PropScope records each signature with the date, time and place, plus a fingerprint of the exact lease text. Use your own attorney-approved lease wording, or start from the built-in template.
No. When you sign up you tick the modules you need - Rentals & applications, Inspections, Maintenance & jobs - and only those show in your menus, dashboard and property pages. Switch them on or off any time in Settings; switching one off never deletes anything. The price stays R10 per property per month either way.
Yes. Tick only Maintenance & jobs when you sign up and PropScope becomes a jobs app: your clients and their properties, quick quotes, itemised quotes, scheduling, job completion with photos and the customer's signature, invoicing and payment tracking. Your clients get a private portal to accept quotes and follow their jobs.
